Coal Slag

Coal slag, available in medium/course and fine sizes, is very angular and contains less than 1% free silica. The hardness of the material makes it resistant to material breakdown.

11/40 - Medium/Course
Used for tough blasting jobs, heavy rust, thick coating, mastics, tank lining, ships, barges, and concrete.

20/50 - Fine
Used for general purpose repair and maintenance blasting, general purpose paint and rust removal, structural steel, and mill scale.
