Filter Sands

Filter sand is produced from hard ore industrial quartz sands. Our filter sand meets American Water Works Association specification B100 Section 2.2, ANSI, and NSF-61.

Filter sand is .45 - .55 mm:

• It can be used in pool filter systems that use 20 lb sand.
  
• It has an effective size of .45 mm and a uniformity coefficient of 1.36.
  
• Filter sand is processed and sized with strict adherence to SPC.
  
• Packaged in 50 lb plastic bags, 60 bags per pallet, & Bulk
